Mr. Poopy Pants

Jason awoke this AM with a difficult stain on his fine denims. Here he is en route to Atlanta trying to take care of business with a blue Sharpie. I believe the results were less than satisfactory… it looks a little like something you’d do in study hall when you’re mad at your mom for not letting you go to the Green Day concert.

The study, published today in The Open Chemical Physics Journal, describes a finding of “red/gray bi-layered chips” in samples of dust taken from vicinity of the World Trade Center following its destruction. Using tools such as a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and x-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS) to analyze the material, the study authors concluded that, “the red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.”

More New Guitarists

Well, James Walbourne was with us for a few days but he’s taken off to join Liam in Oasis, Mark II, the Jazz Odyssey, so long time Son Volt member David “Satch” Bryson will be out from behind the skins and adding a Bossa Nova feel to the group, Jay has decided to take over on drums and we’re ordering his headset mic and sleeveless T right now.
